Art&Co.works between art and enterprise
Art&Co. is a new project created and taken care of by fondazione march whose main partner is Porsche Italia, promoted by Adecco and Aidp that work in human resources and aim at promoting young artists and favouring creativity on the company’s territory. This project was set up for the “Festival delle Città Impresa” (Festival of Business Towns) that creates a cultural platform where theoretical discussions are enriched by visual projects that offer a wide range of concrete cases.
Art&Co. connects art, territory and businesses while emphasising the possibility of developing the concept of innovation and of involving various companies throughout Northeast Italy to implement new synergies. The aim is to propose the Northeast business area as a candidate to become the European Capital of Culture in 2019, proving how culture can become a competitive factor for businesses today.
The companies that have been chosen for their broadmindidness towards art and culture are: Valcucine, Technogel, Massimago, Lago and GPS Packaging. These companies take an active part in Art&Co and ensure that the project is implemented on the workplace.
The project created for Valcucine, “Metodo Walden - capitolo#1 primavera”, presents works by the artist Ettore Favini, whose research is focused on nostalgic themes, landscapes and interaction with the environment.
For a week, the artist will live in an abandoned urban location that has been taken over by nature and where he will act out unseen performances, take photos and make video recordings as well put up installations inside the location itself that nature will cancel in the course of time. The exhibition will document the actions of the artist.
