CLIMATE EMERGENCY AND GREEN ECONOMY: THE 2007 NOBEL PRIZE WINNER RICHARD S. ODINGO IN PORDENONE
"Nobel prize winner Richard S. Odingo's recipe to cure the Earth's fever and make a new start towards healthy and durable sustainable development based on a new ecological deal". This is the name of the meeting that will take place in Pordenone on Thursday, 19th November 2009 at 6.30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Town Hall (in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, n. 64) to which Richard S. Odingo will participate in the capacity of senior member of African climatologists, former Vice Chairman of the Inter-governamental Panel on climate change of the United Nations (IPCC), Nobel prize winner for peace and for the environment in 2007 will participate.
During the meeting, the new long-term reafforestation Project for Africa called the "GOT OWAGA Operation" that is about to take off in the Nyando Valley, Nyanza (Kenya) and is financed by BIOFOREST and coordinated and directed by Mr. Odingo himself, will be presented with the help of images.

Leandro Cappellotto, President of BIOFOREST an "Onlus" (no-profit) Association for the regeneration of natural environments;
Gianfranco Schiava, Managing Director of the Electrolux-Zanussi Group;
Maurizio Cini, President of the "Unione Industriali di Pordenone" (Employers' Association of Pordenone)
