Eurocucina and Fuorisalone 2016

Eurocucina and Fuorisalone 2016

Valcucine presented two new solutions for the kitchen at this year’s edition of EuroCucina, the largest International kitchen furniture exhibition, and revealing never-before-seen finishes for a number of its ranges and most recent collections – including Genius Loci – at Valcucine showroom in Brera district.

A new interactive kitchen system, V-Motion kit, launched at EuroCucina and presented on Genius Loci. Patented by Valcucine, has been designed for discerning customers who demand cutting-edge solutions and want their kitchen to be a "treasure chest of wellbeing", as well as a workhorse serving actual individual needs.
New smart opening and closing systems for the drawers and doors of the equipped back panel, which respond to the merest touch, will make using the kitchen a unique experience; serving as an unobtrusive helper and simplifying numerous daily tasks.
When the Air Logica System – the special unit designed to improve ergonomics as well as create more space – gently opens up, the tap swivels around and the light on the back panel turns on simultaneously.

Meticulous care has gone into creating the clean lines and functionality of the new Gourmet System, presented on Genius Loci, with details designed to meet the needs of any would-be chef, in order to take their expertise to the next level.
The new Gourmet System is a semi-professional solution, where the inclusion of clever features such as the steel top with concealed storage area and the built-in equipped back section, ensures high performance and extreme ease of use in all prepping and cooking tasks. The Gourmet System also features the innovative completely flush ceramic induction hob – developed in cooperation with AEG, a brand belonging to the Electrolux Group which is globally renowned for its cooking appliances, and Eurokera, a leading company all over the world for the production of advanced ceramic glass surfaces. This is a solution designed for people who love to cook with highly professional tools, bringing together quality, innovation and elegance.

The whole Valcucine stand has been designed as a wellness heaven, inspired by nature and the idea of wellbeing. The space resembles a garden, symbolic of one of the cornerstones of the company’s wellness concept: Man living in harmony with his surroundings.
A feature wall will be entirely dedicated to an array of the brand’s glass colours, inspired by the four natural elements – earth, water, air and fire – and reflecting the motto: “Wellbeing comes from nature and from the light that gives it colour and life”.

Valcucine Brera Showroom
Nature is once again the source of inspiration for the new and exclusive finishes – matt Mochaccino,  Wheat Yellow, Olmo Carnico as well as black textile glass and structured lacquers – available for the Genius Loci, Artematica, Riciclantica and Forma Mentis models, which will be on display at the Brera showroom. In addition to aesthetics, great attention has been paid to the sensorial qualities of materials, such as the new tactile wood finishes (Olmo Carnico), or the tactile aluminium silk-effect finishes.

The options in glass – which have always been Valcucine's strongest domain – saw the addition of the new tactile glass finishes, which add a sense of depth to the design while also providing a delightful tactile sensation, and the textile glass finishes, which lends the typical warmth of fabrics to a colder material like glass.
Lots of room has been left to customisations to make each kitchen as unique as its owner. Graphic glass with drawings inspired by various natural forms will enrich and extend the concept of art on glass – exclusive to Valcucine – making it available to a wider public.  Different finishes and styles resulting from the excellence of Italian handicraft expertise characterise Valcucine’s offer: from carved to inlaid wood, from mosaics made of stone, even unique ones like Greenforest, to mother-of-pearl, sculptured stone and cut glass. Furthermore, precious metals such as copper, aluminium, zinc and titanium reflect the colours of the rainbow thanks to a special oxidisation treatment.

During the Salone del Mobile week, it was also be possible to watch the skilled hands of a master mosaic worker customising the front panels of Genius Loci kitchen’s drawers at Valcucine’s showroom, confirming how aesthetic studies, care over detail and technical skills all perfectly fit in Valcucine's philosophy. On 17th April, the mosaic drawer fronts were installed on a Genius Loci kitchen, replacing its pre-existing natural copper fronts and totally changing its look and feel.
