WHAT THE VALCUCINE HOME SYSTEM IS

The most important revolution in domestic space at the end of the 20^th century was undoubtedly the arrival of the ”open space” concept. An undivided space perfectly suited to contemporary lifestyles, varied and unpredictable and that prefers the flexibility of rooms and of furniture.

It is a well-know fact that open spaces make the home look airier but the dispersion of odours from the kitchen to the living room is a problem that remains to be solved. Valcucine has prepared a “Home system” that allows you to organise the day area in various ways: if necessary, it can be partially divided while maintaining a visually open-space feel.

The Valcucine “Home system” includes:

- the use of modular partitions that separate the kitchen from the living room and that can be transparent (in glass, sliding or fixed), or non-transparent (using wall panelling);

- the use of sliding glass panels that enclose the cooking area;

- the use of cupboard units with glass sliding doors that can contain both the kitchen furniture and appliances.
