Artematica is the first door in the world to have an aluminium structural frame that is resistant and lightweight and a door panel that is only 5mm thick and that is now designed to completely conceal not only the frame but also the worktop and plinth, thus creating a kitchen with pure volumes.
The panel consists of a single, layered laminate whole and is completely resistant to water and to heat. Following lengthy research and various tests, Valcucine has become the first company to have constructed a solid wood laminate door that has the same features of layered laminate: it can soak in water for a long time because it does not have applied edgings that can come unstuck.
Valcucine has now completely restyled the Artematica door; the frame is constructed using a screw-less jointing system: it is entirely in aluminium and thus 100% recyclable.
Moreover, resistance to torsion has been increased fivefold, making it possible to construct very large elements.
The evolution of Artematica has resulted in the birth of Ricicla, subsequently modified into the current Riciclantica model: with the use of new materials such as carbon and aluminium, it has been possible to further dematerialise the door panel to a thickness of only 2 mm, without compromising on physical resistance. Furthermore, sophisticated studies and high technical skill have resulted in the construction of a slim glass panel that is extremely resistant to impact.
Aluminium Riciclantica is a single-material door that can be completely recycled without having to dismantle it. Special Valcucine technology makes it possible to deform the surface to create ridges according to programmes chosen by the end user.
