Product quality marks guarantee that the product itself corresponds to the quality and safety standards established by the technical provisions required by the mark. For example, to obtain the GS quality mark for a piece of furniture, a set of safety tests (stability, safety of the electric systems, lack of dangerously sharp parts, use of tempered glass, respect of regulations and limits for toxic emissions….) and quality tests (duration of hinges, capacity of drawer guides, load-bearing capacity of fixings, compression-resistance of feet, bending resistance of shelves...) must be passed. The quality mark of the product analyses the real quality of the manufactured item and thus is the mark that should interest the consumer most.
Valcucine was the first in the kitchen sector in Italy to have obtained this mark after strict control tests carried out on its kitchens by the L.G.A. German institute.
