Enviromental standards and certification

ISO14001 is the best known certification standard internationally for environmental management systems.

ISO14001 guarantees that the company:

- respects all environmental requirements regarding sound, toxic discharge, dust, and water pollution;

- has a controlled, registered waste disposal system;

- is committed to reducing energy consumption and carries out projects with this goal;

- is involved in environmental projects.

It is issued by independent certification bodies after inspection of the company and it is subject to control by the certification

body.

ECO-LABEL is the bestknown environmental label and was established by the European Commission. It is applied to products meeting strict ecological and performance criteria. It guarantees that throughout its life, the product has a low environmental impact and meets European standards.
