Valcucine obtained the pure FSC - Forest Stewardship Counci ® certification on maples board purchase. The FSC Forest Stewardship Council ® certificate guarantees that all the solid maple elements come from forests managed in a responsible way from an ecological, social and economical viewpoint.

Valcucine has been a supporter of sustainable development for many years and is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its manufacturing plant. We develop projects for rational use of raw materials, recycling of waste materials and reduction of pollution, consumption and water and promote a balance between use and replacing of natural resources. Our dedication to eco-friendly production made us Italy’s first kitchen cabinet maker to obtain UNI EN ISO 14001 certification.

Geprüfte Sicherheit GS is a German seal of approval of product quality. Valcucine was the first Italian kitchen cabinet builder to be awarded this certification after its products underwent strict testing and inspection by the German institute L.G.A.

The BIOFOREST label was created by Valcucine. We make certain that large numbers of trees are planted, both to absorb the carbon dioxide produced during manufacture and to replace those cut down for furniture production. A balance was reached thanks to a series of reforesting projects and BIOFOREST, created for this purpose, is now an independent NGO with Italian Ministry of the Environment recognition. It is open to anyone who thinks that commit to improving our environment can no longer be delayed and works mainly with manufacturers who want to restore a balance between the carbon dioxide they produce and the carbon dioxide absorbed by the trees they plant.
