The door of the Ala wall unit opens with a light upward touch of the hand thanks to an internal counterweight and without the need of hinges, springs and pistons. The open door does not prevent the vertical or lateral movements of the user. The storage space has been increased because the vertical partitions of the wall unit have been eliminated thus making it easier to see and pick-up its contents. By opening just one door the entire contents of the unit are easily accessible for all the time necessary, eliminating the need to continuously open and shut the door.The width of the Ala wall unit can vary in compliance with customer's requirements reaching 2.4 metres in one single unit. This avoids the need to respect multiples of 15cm and the use of unsightly fillers.
