Studio804 Center for Design ResearchStudio 804 is a graduate program at the University of Kansas School of Architecture, directed by Dan Rockhill. Each year the students design and build a sustainable home or commercial building in Kansas. The 2011 Studio 804 constructed the amazing Center for Design Research on the KU campus. Pohlenz Cucine Moderne and Dom Showrooms donated a Valcucine glass kitchen and tables for the project. The building is expected to receive LEED Platinum certification and be the first Commercial Certified Passive building in North America. The Center was filled for the Open House on June 16 and is now open for collaboration between students, faculty, and the design community!
