Honourable mention at the XXII Compasso d’Oro awards

After the prestigious “Premio dei Premi all’Innovazione 2011” (recently given to Gabriele Centazzo at the Quirinal Palace) the array of prizes and international recognitions awarded to this company has grown continuously, proving that the path the company from Pordenone has decided to follow is the right one.  Valcucine has received the Honourable Mention at the XXII Compasso D’Oro ADI with the project submitted to ADI Design INDEX 2010 in the "Research for Business" "Ethics, environment, innovation" section. 

The Honourable Mention is another important token to Valcucine’s thirty-year long commitment to environmental issues, expressed by manufacturing innovative and functional products and by continuously affirming that focusing on sustainability is the method to be adopted together with formal and functional research into planning and producing design products. 

This work is expressed through continuous research into intelligent design that balances the use and the restoration of environmental resources and that saves on raw materials by favouring a design based on dematerialisation, recyclability and the reutilisation of products at the end of their life-cycle.
