During Milan Design Week 2024<\/strong>, we had the pleasure of hosting the installation by the Dutch design studio i29 at our Milan flagship store for the Architectural Scenarios<\/em> exhibition. The event highlighted the integration of our kitchen program within i29\u2019s architectural context, creating an immersive experience that captivated visitors.<\/p>\n

During the Design Week, we interviewed i29<\/a> about their participation and their interpretation of Valcucine kitchens. The Dutch studio explained how they built a spatial installation inspired by a specific detail of the Valcucine kitchen:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe integrated the Valcucine kitchen into the architectural scenario by creating a spatial installation inspired by a specific kitchen detail. In this case, it was the corner detail, expressing sophistication and attention to detail.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The craftsmanship and attention to detail in Valcucine kitchens made a strong impression on i29.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201cWhat impressed us most about Valcucine kitchens was the craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and the flexibility in kitchen design,\u201d<\/em> they commented.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

These qualities perfectly align with i29\u2019s design philosophy, which seeks luxury and sustainability in their projects.<\/p>\n

i29 shared their approach to sustainability and design, emphasizing the importance of natural materials and European craftsmanship:<\/p>\n

\u201cAs i29, we seek luxury and sustainability in our projects. To integrate them, we follow a strategy of pursuing natural beauty because we believe that natural materials are always fashionable and always good, ensuring longevity.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The studio also highlighted the value of craftsmanship: We are also very attentive to craftsmanship. Europe has a long tradition of artisans, providing high-quality work that ensures durability.\u201d<\/em>\u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Finally, i29 spoke about the importance of intelligent design, a principle they share with Valcucine. In every project, the interior design studio strives to design intelligently so that the projects remain functional, adaptable, and long-lasting.<\/p>\n
