{"id":3114,"date":"2013-09-06T09:10:16","date_gmt":"2013-09-06T09:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.valcucine.com\/magazine\/?p=3114"},"modified":"2016-04-26T15:50:21","modified_gmt":"2016-04-26T15:50:21","slug":"oat-2013-%e2%80%93-behind-the-green-door","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.valcucine.com\/magazine\/en\/2013\/09\/oat-2013-%e2%80%93-behind-the-green-door\/","title":{"rendered":"OAT 2013 \u2013 Behind the green door"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year&#8217;s<a href=\"http:\/\/oslotriennale.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0<\/a><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/oslotriennale.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\">Oslo Architecture Triennale<\/a><\/strong><\/span> (OAT) marks the 5th edition, and is titled Behind the Green Door \u2013 Architecture and the desire for sustainability. OAT&#8217;s main exhibition open on September 19. All the selected objects form a collection of curiosities, exhibited at DogA until December 1.<\/p>\n<p>The main exhibition investigates a broad variety of building projects that claim to be sustainable. Rather than starting from a preconceived assumption as to what is to be considered sustainable, and then trying to find good examples to illustrate that point, the curators Rotor choose to document that what is being called sustainable by others: Digital render, fa\u00e7ade study model, software package, promotional leaflet, material sample, mock-up, quote \u2026 the collection of physical and digital objects displays through an impressive quantity of materials how architects deal with <strong>sustainability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibits in the collection tell the story of the <strong>\u2018green\u2019<\/strong> features of important architectural projects from all over the world.
