In questo mondo di valori capovolti, \u00e8 il cibo che ci mangia: un cibo omologato, seriale, globale e poco naturale che inquina la Terra, dal campo al nostro stomaco, che causa gravissimi danni all\u2019ambiente e alla Natura, dalle campagne fino alle odierne megalopoli. Per non essere pi\u00f9 mangiati dal cibo, Carlo Petrini propone con <strong>Terra Madre<\/strong> un\u2019alleanza tra chi lo produce e chi poi lo mette in pancia: il cibo sar\u00e0 la chiave per riprenderci le nostre vite.<\/p>\n<p>Nato a Bra (Cuneo), <strong>Carlo Petrini<\/strong> fonda nel 1986 Arcigola, che con il Congresso di Parigi del 1989 diventa Slow Food: da associazione no profit italiana a internazionale. Con oltre 100.000 soci, Slow Food \u00e8 presente in 150 Paesi e opera per diffondere una cultura alimentare portatrice di piacere, identit\u00e0 e tradizioni e per promuovere uno stile di vita, oltre che alimentare, rispettoso dei territori e dell\u2019ambiente. Dalle idee di Petrini nascono la prima Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Scienze Gastronomiche e Terra Madre. Nel 2004 la rivista Time Magazine gli attribuisce il titolo di Eroe Europeo, mentre nel gennaio 2008 compare, unico italiano, tra le \u00abCinquanta persone che potrebbero salvare il mondo\u00bb, elenco redatto dal quotidiano The Guardian.
