Valcucine celebrates design excellence at Design.now 2024/2025
On April 24, 2025, the Cinema Park Mosfilm in Moscow hosted the sixth edition of the Design.now 2024/2025 awards ceremony, celebrating excellence in six categories: NOW interior, NOW design, NOW arch, NOW craft, FASHION, and FUTURE. An international jury selected the winners, while partnering brands, including Valcucine and Krassky, presented special recognitions to outstanding participants.

Among the key supporters of the event, Krassky and Valcucine stood out for their continued commitment to quality, innovation, and timeless design.
The Krassky interior showroom, known for curating premium interior solutions, partnered with Valcucine, whose kitchens embody the brand's core values of innovation, durability, and ergonomics. Together, they presented a special prize to designers Tatiana Alenina and Vladimir Krasilnikov for their refined apartment project, chosen for its conceptual strength and refined aesthetic. The award was delivered by Edgars Zadusko, owner of Krassky, and Thomas Tonon, regional manager of Valcucine, highlighting the synergy between thoughtful design and technological excellence.
The ceremony, directed by Petr Novikov, took on a strong artistic tone. Designed around the symbolic figure of the stool — a timeless, humble object — the scenography transformed the space into a curated museum-like installation. Artist Ivan Belov created unique wooden trophies inlaid with metal, given to each winner as a metaphorical “flash card” for personal memories and meaning. Music was provided by the electro-acoustic group Tool Things, who performed a Vangelis-inspired set, while actor Eduard Miller added a theatrical flair, presenting each trophy in a unique and poetic gesture.

Valcucine and Krassky's involvement underlined the importance of enduring partnerships between brands and designers that push the boundaries of contemporary living.
