The soul of wood
Archigraphica brings the warmth of wood, a living and authentic material, into the most traditional of Valcucine kitchens. Its distinctive feature is an iconic graphic motif that defines the fronts, evoking the perspective drawing of a building.
A solid wood profile wraps around the end panels and worktop, combining function and decoration while adding warmth, elegance and personality. The profile can also integrate a slim handle, perfectly incorporated into the geometry of the kitchen, creating a balance between aesthetic expression and function.
Archigraphica offers a new level of design freedom, allowing dynamic intersections and graphic compositions to be created through a modular and customisable system.
Design philosophy
“I have always worked on pure volumes, with Archigraphica, I wanted to add a graphic design made of natural matter to the surface of the furniture. In a society that is increasingly detached from nature and has adapted to synthetic materials, I thought it was important to propose wood not just as a superficial veneer but as mass, as natural matter, to satisfy tactile sensations and to bring back the ancestral memory that has made wood a friendly matter to humankind for thousands of years. The graphic design, which can be freely composed, offers designers a unique expressive freedom, allowing to design the materiality and architecture of their kitchen’s facade”.
