Valcucine Goldberg Machine. Multiline, the route to excellence.

After days of intense planning, filming and editing we can at last present the new Artematica Multiline video. We have constructed a real Goldberg machine to explain the main features of the HPL multilayered laminate door that has revolutionised the world.

Reuben Garret Lucius Goldberg, better known as Rube, was an American comic-strip artist who won the Pulitzer Award for satire in 1948 but who is probably more famous for the complicated machines that he initially drew in his comic strips. A Goldberg machine is a mechanism deliberately designed in a complex way to do easy or negligible things that has inspired many videos in the course of time, such as the famous “The Way Things Go” an film by Peter Fischli and David Weiss, the famous video “This Too Shall Pass” by OkGo and many other amateur and advertising videos (Lego and Honda are some of the most famous ones).

The video ends with a gem dedicated to New Logica System and its magical opening mechanisms.
Will ingenious devices, engineered sequences and surprising changes of rhythm keep your eyes glued to the screen and your breath bated?
