Top interior design projects of 2025 with Valcucine
As the year draws to a close, we look back on an intense 2025, shaped by international projects that reflect the evolution of contemporary high-end interior design. This selection of the top interior design projects of 2025 unfolds as a narrative of prestigious residential architecture, set within profoundly different geographic and cultural contexts, yet united by a shared vision of living. In every project, the Valcucine kitchen stands out as a central design element, able to engage in dialogue with author-driven architecture and high-quality spaces.
From the most unspoiled natural landscapes to the most iconic urban settings, our contribution enters each project with sensitivity and balance, building relationships: between people and everyday gestures, between architecture and material, between indoors and outdoors. Because a kitchen, for us, is always the place where living takes shape and becomes experience.

The journey begins in the north, in a rarefied and silent landscape. In Scotland, Cuddymoss is a project that brings past and present into conversation: Ann Nisbet Studio breathes new life into an abandoned stone structure, transforming it into a contemporary retreat deeply connected to Ayrshire. Inside, Artematica fits in naturally, defining an essential, intimate space where the purity of materials and the precision of details align with the slow rhythm of the countryside.

From Scotland, the route continues south, through eucalyptus forests and ever-changing light. Yarra Valley House interprets a way of living that is both light and rooted: timber and rammed earth engage in dialogue with wide openings, creating a continuum between interior and exterior. In this setting curated by JAM Architects, the Genius Loci kitchen translates the residence's design approach with a measured balance of elegance and functionality, accompanying everyday gestures in harmony with the surrounding nature.
In Kyiv, the Tetris Hall project by Bogdanova Bureau interprets the urban context through crisp volumes, dynamic perspectives, and balanced geometries. Here, the kitchen takes shape as a space designed for everyday life: warm, soft tones define a welcoming environment, where timeless materials and pure lines come together with functionality designed to last.
Following, in an ideal sense, the course of the Moskva River, the Kamyshi project, curated by Meganom Studio, opens onto a more horizontal way of living, attentive to the landscape. In the Entrance Pavilion, a large Genius Loci kitchen becomes the hub for gatherings, events, and convivial moments. The island—almost nine metres long—integrates preparation and cooking with integrated downdraft extraction; the under-top drawer runs through the composition with discretion, signing the space with elegance and continuity.

The route continues west, reaching London. In Primrose Hill, London Solar House is renewed through light: Archi-Tectonics connects the building's historic soul with a new idea of urban comfort. Within a bright double-height volume, the Valcucine kitchen becomes a synthesis of sustainability and elegance, inviting a more conscious way of living the domestic space.
The journey concludes in Italy. In Brescia, the penthouse designed by Celina Idra interprets the kitchen as a gesture with strong expressive value: the Artematica island in natural brass captures the light with an almost sculptural presence, while Tech Ceramica Calce Bianco surfaces create continuity and lightness. Here, the kitchen goes beyond function to become atmosphere—material to be lived—an immersive sensory experience that accompanies everyday gestures with discretion and authenticity.
Through these projects, Valcucine continues to imagine and design kitchens as places for living, where design and architecture meet to shape a more conscious, evolved, and human way of inhabiting. Spaces in which every detail, every material, and every gesture finds its own balance, within a beauty designed to endure over time.
