Valcucine Wunderkammer in Dubai: creativity and craftsmanship

Valcucine Wunderkammer continues its international journey with a stop in Dubai, at Valcucine Dubai | Merise, for an dedicated to architects and interior designers. The event offered an opportunity to explore the world of Valcucine more closely through the principles that guide its research: ergonomic design, innovation and customisation, understood as the ability to create solutions that respond to different needs and individual sensibilities.

The event was hosted by Valcucine Dubai | Merise, an atelier distinguished by the care and attention to detail it brings to every occasion, helping to create an ideal setting for sharing ideas and exchanging perspectives with architects and interior designers.

One of the most distinctive expressions of Valcucine craftsmanship is Vitrum Arte, a glass inlay technique that combines precision and manual skill to create unique compositions. This technique was at the heart of the workshop, inviting participants to engage directly with the creative process.

Three words, many interpretations

The workshop began with the three themes chosen for Wunderkammer: wonder, luxury and freedom. After discovering the distinctive features of Vitrum Arte and the different stages of its creation, each participant was invited to develop an original design, freely interpreting one of the proposed concepts.

The resulting designs reflected a variety of sensibilities and creative visions, demonstrating how a single source of inspiration can be expressed through individual visual languages. The experience brought guests closer to the hands-on nature of the technique, connecting intuition, artistic expression and artisanal expertise.

The designs created in Dubai will subsequently be reinterpreted by Valcucine artisans and transformed into Vitrum Arte artworks: handcrafted glass inlays that will be returned to their respective creators.

An international journey of creative visions

The artworks created during the Valcucine Wunderkammer events become part of an international collection that continues to grow with each stop, bringing together diverse interpretations of the themes of wonder, luxury and freedom.

The designs created in Dubai will also enter the final international competition, alongside those developed in the other participating cities. At the end of the journey, the winner will receive a trip for two to Venice, including the opportunity to visit Valcucine and meet the network of artisans who collaborate with the company, discovering firsthand the skills and techniques that contribute to making its creations unique.

Our thanks go to the architects and interior designers who took part in the Dubai event, contributing their creativity to this collective .
