Valcucine Wunderkammer arrives in Rome: the journey of experience continues
The Valcucine Wunderkammer journey continues and arrives in Rome, adding a new stop to a project that, over the past few months, has already involved several cities across India, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, inviting architects and interior designers to enjoy an immersive experience and discover the Valcucine world.
An international journey that, throughout 2026, will bring the format to 40 showrooms around the world, involving more than 600 professionals, including architects and designers, and finding its most authentic essence in sharing, creativity and dialogue.
The event was hosted by the Valcucine Roma Trastevere | Fattorini Atelier, a space that interprets the Valcucine world not only through its products, but also through an experience made of details to discover, refined materials, surprising openings and solutions that combine functionality, design culture and beauty. For the occasion, the venue was transformed into a true contemporary Wunderkammer.
The event unfolded as a progressive journey into the Valcucine universe: from the discovery of the brand's values and design philosophy to the theme of personalisation, a key element of its offering, which finds one of its most representative expressions in the Vitrum Arte technique.
Vitrum Arte: the value of personal interpretation
The central moment of the evening was the workshop dedicated to Vitrum Arte. After observing the different stages of the process and discovering up close a technique that requires precision, manual skill and artisanal sensitivity, guests were invited to take part first-hand.
Starting from three themes — wonder, luxury and freedom — each participant created an original drawing, transforming their own interpretation into a personal mark. It was a creative moment that gave life to different visions, reflecting diverse sensitivities and design languages.
The drawings created during the workshop were brought to the company, where they will be transformed into Vitrum Arte works: hand-crafted glass inlays made by Valcucine artisans. Each piece will therefore preserve the memory of the experience, translating it into a unique object.

A spontaneous recognition of creativity
During the evening, a special initiative also arose spontaneously: a small internal contest designed to reward the three works that best interpreted the spirit of Valcucine Wunderkammer. This gesture helped make the atmosphere even more engaging and participatory, reflecting the enthusiasm and care with which the team of the Valcucine Roma Trastevere | Fattorini atelier welcomed the project and accompanied guests throughout the experience.

A growing collection of visions
The project continues beyond the event itself. The works created in Rome will in fact become part of the final international contest together with those produced during the previous stages, helping to build an ever-evolving Wunderkammer made of different identities and sensitivities.
The final prize will be a trip for two to Venice: an experience dedicated to discovering Valcucine and its network of artisans, through manufacturing know-how, design culture and artisanal tradition.
Stay tuned to discover the next stages.
