Valcucine Wunderkammer arrives in Italy: In Turin, uniqueness takes shape through experience

Valcucine Wunderkammer arrives in Italy, making its first stop in Turin and launching the Italian chapter of this international , created to meet architects and interior designers and share the brand's design vision through a direct, immersive, and participatory experience.

After its debut in India, the event was hosted at the Valcucine Torino | Oikos Margaria atelier, the recently renovated showroom that interprets the Valcucine world as a space for design research and presents itself as a contemporary Wunderkammer: a place to explore, filled with refined materials, surprising solutions, hidden details, and insights that have changed the way kitchens are designed.

Over the course of the day, two sessions took place, bringing together architects and interior designers from both established studios and emerging local practices.

The experience designed for the event guided guests through Valcucine's design culture, from the brand's founding values to its vision of customization. For Valcucine, customization is born from the meeting of design, technical research, and artisanal know-how: a balance that allows every to become a unique piece.

Representing this vision in a tangible way is Vitrum Arte, Valcucine's exclusive glass inlay technique, which combines innovation and human gesture, artisanal memory and contemporary languages.

Vitrum Arte: Wonder in the making

The central moment of the event was the workshop dedicated to Vitrum Arte. After discovering the different stages of the process up close, a craft that requires precision, manual skill, and great care, guests were invited to take part personally.

Each participant created an original drawing inspired by three themes connected to the Valcucine universe: wonder, luxury, and freedom. These three keywords became the starting point for personal interpretations, giving shape to different visions and expressing diverse design sensibilities.

The drawings created during the workshop were then taken to the company, where they will be transformed into hand-crafted glass inlays by a Valcucine artisan. In this way, each work will become a unique piece, able to preserve and reflect the experience itself

A Wunderkammer of visions

The project continues beyond the event. All the works will take part in a final competition, where they will be exhibited and voted on through a digital platform conceived as a new Wunderkammer: a shared space of wonder that will collect creativity, identity, and design freedom from around the world.

Throughout the year, Valcucine Wunderkammer will continue its international journey, stopping at Valcucine dealers in different countries and involving architects and interior designers in new discovery experiences. Stay tuned to discover the next stops.
