Valcucine supports the World Architecture Festival 2022

World Architecture Festival 2022 is round the corner. Valcucine is thrilled to support the 2022 WAF edition, the world's largest international architectural annual event that takes place in Lisbon from November the 30th untill December the 2nd.

The World Architecture Festival 2022 consist of three days of live conference programmes, awards and fringe events, with talks by leading global architectural thinkers and industry personalities, 76 International speakers & presenters across two stages, 495 Live pitches from your peers in 17 crit rooms and we are really thrilled to support it as sponsors and attend the festival.

WAF 2022 programme theme is ‘Together'

In December 2022, it will be three years since the global community of architects and designers have been able to meet in-person at WAF and INSIDE. This year consideration will focus in how architecture is responding to the renewal of collective life post-pandemic, and in its light of commitments to combatting climate change.

Main Stage programme

The sister festival of WAF, is Inside World Festival of Interiors. It takes place at the same time and location. Inside is a feast of creativity, inspiration and knowledge for the interiors industry. It is the only design awards where designers pitch their work to a panel of expert judges and their peers – all live at the festival in Lisbon.

At the heart of the World Architecture Festival sits the unique live-judged awards programme. We are thrilled to watch hundreds of world renowned architects from leading practices as well as up and coming designers presenting their selected projects and compete to be crowned winners by WAF 2022 expert judging panels.

The 495-strong 2022 shortlist has been selected from hundreds of entries from over 50 countries, including Portugal, Malaysia, Finland, Mexico, China, Turkey, Australia, Japan, India, Germany, Denmark and the UK.
