Valcucine Barcelona | Interni Onesti: a new atelier dedicated to the culture of design

In the heart of Barcelona, Valcucine opens a new atelier developed in collaboration with Interni Onesti: a space dedicated to the culture of design, personalisation and contemporary ways of living.

Located in Dreta de l'Eixample, one of the city's most elegant and historically significant neighbourhoods, the new space is set within an area that has long been a landmark for Barcelona's design and architectural culture. Surrounded by Modernist buildings, elegant streets and a vibrant cultural scene, the atelier has been conceived to welcome clients, architects and interior designers, guiding them through the creation of unique, bespoke projects.

Valcucine Barcellona | Interni Onesti is more than a showroom. It is a place for meeting, dialogue and experimentation, where visitors can discover the Valcucine collections, experience the materials first-hand and explore the extensive personalisation possibilities that make every unique.

Visitors are welcomed by a Genius Loci composition featuring the straight drawer in MDi. The material continuity between the drawer and the top creates a seamless surface that enhances the compositional clarity and balance of the design. The single wall unit, created in the same finish, forms a light, essential horizontal feature.

The base units in Pewter Stainless Steel emphasise the urban character of the interior, creating a refined material contrast with the original exposed-brick wall. Within this balance of authentic surfaces and essential geometries, Genius Loci fully expresses the meaning of its name, interpreting and enhancing the identity of the space. Materials, proportions and details integrate naturally with the existing , creating a unique project deeply rooted in its context.

Completing this first setting is Logica Celata in Vitrum Kamut finish, which conceals a bar area entirely clad in Carrara Marble Honed. When closed, Logica Celata presents a rigorous, minimalist appearance. With one simple movement, it reveals a refined space dedicated to hospitality and conviviality.

The composition is further enhanced by a display cabinet in MVi Paglia di Vienna. The traditional woven motif is reinterpreted through a contemporary surface incorporating a fine metallic mesh, with reflections ranging from gold to copper. The result is an elegant, subtly mirrored and iridescent effect that changes with the light.

At the centre of the showroom, Artematica Soft Outline emerges as a sculptural presence. Two islands—one in Carrara Marble and the other in Matt Vitrum Bronze—are connected by a wooden linking element, transforming them into a single composition defined by soft, continuous profiles. The dialogue between stone, glass and wood creates a refined material balance in which surfaces and volumes come together in harmonious synthesis.

The design narrative continues with a wall-run Artematica composition in Matt Vitrum Caramel Yellow, a warm, luminous shade that brings character and vitality to the interior.

The New Logica Special Element in Matt Vitrum Bronze organises and conceals the 's principal working functions. This equipped back section is designed to make every gesture more fluid and natural, thanks to ergonomic solutions and perfectly integrated accessories. Once closed, New Logica restores an essential, orderly appearance, moving effortlessly between operational openness and formal simplicity.

An evening of design and conviviality

The opening of the new atelier was celebrated with an evening dedicated to design and conviviality. Architects, interior designers, partners and clients gathered in a warm, informal atmosphere, sharing conversations, tastings and moments of exchange.

One of the highlights of the evening was a live cooking demonstration held in collaboration with Miele España. Chef Julio López prepared the dishes in front of the guests, showing how New Logica naturally supports every stage of preparation by combining ergonomics, technology and the pleasure of conviviality.

The jazz notes of Leandro Guffanti accompanied images from Miseria e nobiltà, the celebrated masterpiece of Italian cinema starring Totò, creating an atmosphere suspended between elegance, irony and memory.

More than simply opening a new atelier, Valcucine and Interni Onesti have created a place dedicated to the culture of design, where architecture, design, craftsmanship and Italian savoir-faire can come together naturally.

It is a space conceived to welcome ideas, relationships and new opportunities for dialogue, transforming every visit into an experience of discovery and shared design.
