A villa among the olive trees on Lake Garda

Set on the slopes of Monte Baldo in Torri del Benaco (Verona), this villa opens onto a privileged view of Lake Garda. Contemporary and in character, it establishes a harmonious dialogue with the landscape, never overpowering it. Surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, the residence enjoys a setting that offers sunsets of rare intensity, when sky and water merge into ever-changing reflections.

Recently built, the villa is the result of a collaboration between Vettori Homes and Guido Mosca. The embraces pure lines and natural materials, such as locally sourced stone, whose warm tones blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment. The carries a strong personal imprint: the owners—a couple deeply in love with Lake Garda and passionate about design and art—took an active role in every decision, turning the villa into a true reflection of their lifestyle.

Authentic materiality

The was designed by Del Fabbro Creating Lifestyle under the guidance of interior designer Mirko Broilo.

“Every choice was deliberate, every combination carefully tested, every detail crafted with a tailor-made approach,” explains Broilo, summing up a process based on continuous dialogue with the clients.

At the heart of the space stands a Riciclantica island in Cast Iron Structured Aluminium. The hand-brushed metal finish enhances the tactile texture, giving it an authentic, lived-in feel. The top and sides are in black quartzite, a natural stone with unique veining, selected together with the clients at the stone supplier.

The island brings together all the operational areas—washing, preparation, and cooking—arranged with ergonomic precision. Balancing the composition, Artematica columns in Matt Vitrum Volcanic Soil echo the dark tones of the island while contrasting with the lighter walls, creating a refined chromatic balance.

A large abstract painting in shades of red adds a vibrant touch that reveals the owners' passion for contemporary art, becoming a visual counterpoint to the essentiality of the composition.

The tall units offer generous storage space; a freestanding refrigerator fits into a custom-designed niche, while a column wine cellar adds a touch of lifestyle and conviviality. A concealed passage perfectly integrated into the cabinetry leads to a utility area, preserving linearity and aesthetic continuity.

A continuous dialogue with the landscape

The large glass windows of the living area open the space towards the outdoors, framing the infinity pool and lake view. The dining table, in material harmony with the island's quartzite, becomes a visual and functional focal point, while a suspended spherical lamp completes the scene with a light, sculptural gesture.

Terraces and loggias, shaped by an interplay of light and shadow, create continuity between interior and exterior, offering ideal spaces to experience the landscape or share convivial moments overlooking Lake Garda.

The wide glazed openings, together with the carefully balanced and colours, narrate the encounter between matter and landscape, innovation and tradition, technique and poetry.
