VETROSPETTIVA -n. f. [feminine noun/adj. [composed of vetro (glass) and lat. -spectivus i.e. from adjectives derived from verbs containing specĕre «to look» (e.g. inspectivus from inspicĕre, prospectivus from prospicĕre, etc.), as in the English word retrospective].
A neologism coined for the celebration of the 30-year anniversary of the first-ever kitchen made of glass, to investigate the events that lead to using one of the most fascinating materials created by man in the kitchen, revolutionising its design.
Let’s take a retrospective look together at the 30 years that have elapsed since this invention, a time in which technology has interacted with philosophy to further enhance the magical atmosphere glass is able to create.
