What is Valcucine Wunderkammer?
An exclusive meeting to discover Valcucine’s design vision and uniqueness, created for interior decorators/interior designers/architects in collaboration with our dealers worldwide.
Valcucine and customization culture
Valcucine has always promoted a free design approach, able to respond intelligently, creatively and respectfully to the user’s different needs. Every kitchen can become a one-of-a-kind piece, thanks to solutions designed to offer the designer wide expressive and compositional freedom.
I have always thought that beauty and taste are born from the harmony of diversity, and nature has a lot to teach us in this regard. If we observe it carefully, we discover in it an inexhaustible source of inspiration and knowledge.
Gabriele Centazzo, Valcucine designer
From this inspiration comes our approach: freedom to combine, interpret, create.
In partnership with Miele
For the Wunderkammer project, Valcucine collaborates with Miele, a technology partner with whom it shares an integrated vision of the kitchen space.
Miele appliances are discreetly incorporated into the project, becoming authentic architectural elements. Proportions, materials and details engage in a harmonious dialogue with Valcucine’s design language, creating visual continuity without ever dominating the space.
A meeting of design, technology and precision, conceived to shape harmonious, timeless interiors in which every element contributes to the balance of the whole.
How to customize a Valcucine kitchen
Total compositional freedom
A broad and flexible design system that allows cross-combining collections, materials, thicknesses, Special Elements, openings and aesthetics.
A true “big lego” that gives designers maximum freedom to create unique compositions, as we see in the projects featured in Domus Anthology, the new digital catalogue presenting the best Valcucine projects worldwide.

Genius Loci
The preciousness of detail
The drawer becomes an iconic element: carvings, inlays, sculpted stones, precious metals…
Valcucine revives ancient craftsmanship techniques and reinterprets them in a contemporary way, restoring dignity and value to trades that risk disappearing.

Vitrum Arte
The beauty of glass inlay
A craftsmanship technique that combines innovation and the human gesture to create unique, unrepeatable pieces.
The inlay process expresses beauty, freedom and creativity, offering both the designer and the end client room for personal interpretation.

The Valcucine Wunderkammer concept

Valcucine customization comes from design, technical and craftsmanship choices. The workshop allows designers to experience this journey first-hand:
- They understand the philosophy
- They experiment with the technique
- They live the craftsmanship
- They create something unique
From idea to artwork: uniqueness becomes an experience.
Naming: Wunderkammer
The dealer showroom, an expression of the Valcucine world, is ideally a Wunderkammer: a place where surprising openings, hidden functions, noble materials and handcrafted details coexist. Every element is a wonder that brings together beauty, ingenuity and uniqueness.
Designers’ creativity as a new wonder
The workshop enables participants to create a unique piece, a personal expression of their vision. As in Wunderkammern, each piece becomes part of a collection of different stories and identities.
A name that opens to future developments

Final contest – Prize
All the projects developed during the workshops will be eligible to enter the final competition. The winning project will be selected through an online public vote on a dedicated digital platform. The project receiving the highest number of votes will be awarded.
This format will also help amplify communication around the initiative, encouraging participating studios to share their projects and involve their own networks in the voting process, thereby increasing the overall visibility of the competition.
The final prize will be a trip for two people to Venice.
