Archi-Tectonics’ revitalization of a century-old brick house in Primrose Hill, London, combines historical preservation with modern innovation. Spanning 210 square meters, the design focuses on sustainability and maximizing space while preserving the building’s original essence. A key feature of the home is the custom-made helical staircase, connecting the entrance floor to the double-height living room and kitchen. This sculptural element ties the entire design together, offering a dynamic interaction between spaces. The kitchen, designed by Valcucine London, integrates seamlessly with the architecture, maintaining the space’s formal purity while introducing sleek modern elements. The worktop, crafted from polished Carnic Grey Marble, enhances the kitchen’s sophisticated aesthetic, while the handleless design ensures a clean, uncluttered appearance. The innovative system of integrated storage units provides both functionality and elegance, with a seamless transition between materials like Aredesia Oak wood and marble. Natural light pours through the glass pyramid, flooding the kitchen with brightness and creating a connection to the surrounding landscape. The space reflects Archi-Tectonics’ philosophy of combining density with elegance, creating a home that is as visually captivating as it is sustainable.
